This is a wonderfully relaxing, yet effective treatment.
The Ear Candles are used by setting them alight. A light suction action (chimney effect), together with the movement of the flame create a vibration of air in the Ear Candle, generating a massage-like effect on the eardrum. The heat from the flame creates a warming and stimulating effect in the middle ear, inner ear, sinuses and nose and the vapour returns back from the ear up the very centre of the candle.
This is a totally safe procedure when undertaken by a trained therapist.
This painless, non-invasive treatment has many benefits including:

The Ear Candles used in my treatments are made with 100% pure natural ingredients. They are cylindrical and made of pesticide free cotton which is impregnated with pure beeswax, honey extract and traditional herbs such as Sage, St John’s Wort, and Chamomile. They are about 22cm long and have a burning time of about 10-12 minutes.
The treatment lasts for 30 – 40 minutes and incorporates acupressure to the sinus points and gentle massage to the face and neck.
It is always advisable to visit your GP for an independent investigation if symptoms continue.
